When we first stepped into this Overland Park primary bathroom, it was clear the space had great bones but lacked the elevated style and thoughtful layout our clients were after. The goal was to create a calming, luxurious retreat — complete with a spa-inspired wet room, custom tile features, and refined accents throughout.

As part of our full-service design + remodel approach, this client worked directly with our in-house design team to bring their vision to life. We started with 3D renderings and material boards so they could see exactly how the space would transform before construction began.
Key design elements included:
A wet room that brings a seamlessly tiled, open-feel shower area into the center of the design.
Elegant Symphony Carmen tile on the countertop for a rich, natural stone look that ties the space together.
Custom wall tile in the wet room using Lyric Concept Roble to create a striking vertical slat effect.
Makoto tile in the shower field, adding texture and dimension underfoot and on the walls.
Black hardware and fixtures — including black cabinet knobs — for crisp contrast and modern polish.
Multiple Delta showerheads to elevate the bathing experience.
A sleek linear drain for clean, contemporary lines.
A custom shower niche with backlighting, blending form and function.
A large freestanding tub placed for both comfort and visual impact.
These selections were thoughtfully curated to balance texture, warmth, and modern elegance — all while enhancing everyday use.
