This stunning kitchen transformation shows how thoughtful design, custom finishes, and a better layout can completely reimagine a space. At Renovating KC Design + Remodel, we specialize in creating beautiful, functional kitchens for homeowners throughout Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, and the Kansas City metro.

Before the renovation, this kitchen featured heavy trim, decorative columns, and two separate islands that interrupted the flow of the space. The remodel introduced a more open, functional layout with one large stained wood island, warm taupe cabinetry, light quartz countertops, and a custom beverage center with glass-front cabinets.

The standout feature of this custom kitchen is the Calacatta Viola marble backsplash, which extends to the ceiling with a beautiful arched detail behind the range. The dramatic natural stone pairs perfectly with the warm wood tones and soft neutral cabinetry, creating a timeless yet modern kitchen.

From custom cabinetry and countertop selections to layout improvements and finishing details, this kitchen before-and-after highlights the impact of a thoughtfully planned renovation.

Planning a kitchen remodel in Overland Park, KS? Renovating KC Design + Remodel offers full-service kitchen remodeling, bringing design and construction together under one roof to create spaces tailored to your home and lifestyle.
